Meet Lynette Stubbs, Founder & Lead Cake Designer
Lynette Stubbs is the founder and lead cake designer behind Luxe Layers, a boutique custom cake studio specializing in modern, luxury cake design for weddings, birthdays, baby showers, and elevated celebrations.
Her journey into baking began with a genuine love for cheesecake. What started as baking at home quickly turned into requests from friends and family, and soon after, paid orders. Early on, Lynette recognized that people weren’t just enjoying dessert; they were trusting her with an important part of their celebration.
That trust became even more meaningful when a close friend asked her to create a fondant-covered cake for her goddaughter’s photoshoot. Taking on the challenge sparked a new passion and marked the beginning of Lynette’s transition from cheesecake baker to custom cake designer. From that moment forward, she committed herself to learning and mastering the art of cake design, studying techniques, refining her skills, and pushing her creativity with intention and precision. That single cake laid the foundation for what would become Luxe Layers.
Today, Luxe Layers is known for clean, modern cake designs, thoughtful details, and flavors that are just as memorable as the presentation. Each cake is custom-designed to reflect the client’s vision while maintaining the Luxe Layers standard of quality, structure, and finish. Cakes are never rushed and never generic.
Lynette is fully hands-on throughout the entire process. She personally designs, bakes, and decorates every cake, working directly with clients from consultation through final delivery. This approach allows clients to enjoy a seamless, stress-free experience while trusting that their cake will be executed beautifully and professionally.
